The Transcendental Significance of Time Management

Everything we have in this world has to come to an end. This universal fact drives people from all races and nations to maximize the utility of every resource that may come to their possession. This limitedness or scarcity of our resources could mean that someday total extinction or non-availability of such supply might occur or it could also mean that these resources are non-reusable hence once used one can never take it back. The latter holds true to many, if not all, facilities and supplements humans use and exploit. One of the most precious resources that perfectly falls within this category is the gift of time. Time, though it seems forever, does not mean the opportunity and circumstance that come along with it goes the same. Moreover, one does not hold the movement of time, nobody does. It just continues to forward whether we like it or not. Hence, in every moment of opportunity or circumstance that time always provides us, it is essential that we make good use of them for who knows when, if ever, they will come back again. This signals the urgent need to implement time management to ensure that no opportunity brought by time is wasted.

A day ends and begins anew. The period between its commencement and culmination is that time which we can never get back again. It is something that immediately forms part of our personal history. In fact, every second, minute, or hour that lapsed is automatically part of our past. We can never go back again. This incontrovertible fact motivates people all over the world to devise lifestyle improvements to cope with the need to maximize every opportunity and circumstance that time unravels. Among these lifestyle practices is time management. Managing time involves dividing one’s time, mostly on a daily basis, according to the needs and priorities of the person. This includes his time to rest, eat, work, bond with family and loved ones, and even that period spent for traveling. Time management allows the person to perform most if not all of these tasks without sacrificing personal and family needs. In addition, the opportunities that may come along as time goes by are also grabbed and utilized properly for the benefit of the person’s career, family, and overall well being.

The need to effectively manage time has produced innovations in technology such as events organizers and planners as featured programs in most cellular phones and computers. This only proves that time management goes beyond boundaries, cultures, and religions. Everyone needs to manage their time to ensure for themselves and the people around them a happy and satisfying life. Time is always running and although it will never run dry, the flow will never be halted nor reversed. Hence, as we flow with time, we encounter different moments, opportunities, and circumstances that offer us chances to improve our lives. As we meet these blessings we continue to flow with the currents of time thus leaving them behind. Therefore, everyone must look ahead, be mindful of the present, and have sufficient time to work on the tasks at hand and still be able to maximize every other blessing that comes along our way. This can only be done if one has sufficient time through time management.
