VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Hi, I am Suzanne McCeney and I am here at ScrapbooksPlus in Chantilly, Virginia, today we are teaching you how to scrapbook. I‘m now going to show you how to design a scrapbook page. First of all you need to determine how many photographs you’re going to put on a page, and if you are going to have a one page spread or a two page spread. It’s easy now because all of these items now come in a series. Here are your papers, here is a title, here is a journaling block, even a frame, so you don’t have to mat your picture, and also a saying and some stickers. So, it’s very easy to do now when you go to the scrapbook store. Let me show you some of our samples. Here is a picture with your title, remember your title. Here we have our journaling block, our important picture, and then we have added our other pictures on the sides. This is a nifty way to put a subtitle, it’s on a piece of ribbon and they hand wrote it with a white writer. Next we have a two page spread. Oops, this way. This is called Fun in the Sun, two pages. See how many pictures you got on two pages. Also, here is our journaling block at the bottom. We have our embellishments, we have ribbon, we have poxy stickers on this side, and we have used the poxy stickers on this side also. Our photographs that we want to focus on or draw attention to have the matting around them. Also notice that they have used the pattern paper to enhance the layout. If you want to get more pictures on a page, remember to crop out the background. These four pages have a lot of grass and field behind them, so we could fit more pictures on a page by cropping out the field behind it. Also, notice that we put the pictures on one mat, so you could get more on one mat. The journaling is done very small underneath, but the title tells you what the subject is. We thank you for being with us today in learning how to make a scrapbook. We hope you have enjoyed it. And we have showed you all the many things that you need to learn to make a scrapbook.
