For the worst, almost invariably, you'll hear about airports, travel times, delayed flights, lost bags and the like. While Flightview can't answer the lost bags part of the equation, it does give you a much better idea of what time your flight will depart and arrive and how long your flight will take.

If you're waiting the arrival of a guest or a family member who’s flying in then check out flightview.com. Flight view allows you to track flights in real time. So, just select an airline, add the flight number and date and click on find flight. This map shows exactly where the plane is at the current moment. You'll see when it was scheduled to depart, when it actually departed and the arrival scheduled time and actual estimated time of arrival. You can also see what type of aircraft they're flying and on as well as the speed and altitude. If you click on launch live, you can actually see the plane moving, sort of. You can see the current weather conditions and even replay a portion of a flight that has already happened. Up at the top, you can choose to email this page to someone else. You can print it, bookmark it and you have capabilities on your mobile phone and then you can track flights on the go. And this is what it will look like on your phone.
